Here are Zyka, we acknowledge that actions speak louder than words when it
comes to awareness about our local environment. In such cases, we like to use
recyclable products where we can. These considerations include, environment friendly
biodegradable cleaning products, recyclable toilet rolls, paper towels and other
equipment using in food preparation process, In this way, we reduce what can build to
be an exorbitant wastage which goes against the grain of our environmental beliefs.
Earlier this year on 26 March at 8:30pm we participated in 'Earth Hour', a global
sustainable movement. We at Zyka, turned off our lights for one hour and lit candles
creating an atmosphere of good eating in flickering ambient lighting. We received an
overwhelming number of positive feedback from our customers that we intend to do
the same for Earth hour 2012.
We support environmental beliefs that makes sense to us. Every year on 22
September, World Car Free Day, many local communities from around the globe took
alternative means to work, school or other local destinations. Next year, we aim to
support this cause again. We offer customers who participates in World Car Free Day
15% off their total Zyka order. This applies only if you can produce confirmation (bus
ticket, cycle keys or helmet) on 22 September that you've left your car at home.
We have recently been inspired by a different cause which we consider is a realistic
conservation effort. There are currently many endangered species around the world.
Through the Smithsonian National Zoological Park Adopt a Species program, we are
in the process of adopting a Giant Panda. With only 1,600 reported Giant Panda in
the wild today, we hope to learn a lot about this lovable creature and to grasp the
symbolism of its plight through this amazing and uncompromising wildlife organization.
If you have any great environmentally friendly ideas that you would like to share with
Zyka staff, please feel free to leave a comment in customer feedback section of our
website.
Giving back to the community
With ever-increasing local causes on the rise, it seems a leap in the number of not-
for-profit organisations has begun. We would like to help your community group by
offering a 10% discount when you order from our menu. All we ask is that you provide
identification and state your organizations line of work.
We don't know what we lost, but lets try together to save some species for next generation!!! We are proud to do our part to the community by adopting Giant Panda!!! ()
